Woah, your Mum is harsh. Surely a mall is safe? is she paranoid about her hanging with males or getting into mischief? Or like, getting kidnapped or something more serious?
I was lucky enough to grow up inthe country so it was pretty much free rein.
And - crazy dream! I never get any that intense. Thanks for sharing it though

Well..it's not harsh.. I understand where she is coming from.. I am a bit over-protective to a point as well. We don't exactly live in the country! Boys will be boys, and that is what alot of it is about.

That was a scary dream! It might be some confusing thought you were having turned into a nightmare!? I think taking some extra precaution with growing kids is nescessary now a days..

Awesome post. As a brother to 3 younger sisters, I feel you pain and share your concerns. I know for a fact how over-protective I was with all of them. Compounding my nature to protect is the fact I have 6 brothers. My sisters, all grown now like to joke they were lucky any boy would even take them out on a date with 7 crazy Irish brothers lurking around! As far as the nightmares, I also share your feelings on these. Where they come from who knows? Many think they're just a release of anxiety or stress. Sometimes they're tough to forget but maybe they really are a way of just clearing out some of the grey matter! Let's hope so anyways! :)

The dreams.. are so random, becuase often, I will remember them.. but not so vividly as that. It felt so surreal. Weirdness for sure.

Thankfully I rarely have nightmares anymore. But I always have crazy and weird dreams that I can never figure out. I use to try to interpret my dreams but stopped cuz nothing ever added up or made since. Altho when I was in school I did have two dreams that actually came true but that was a long time ago and hasnt happened since..it was weird tho. I wouldn't know how to explain your nightmares..I need help explaining my waking dreams, but good luck with that..and oh, I hate when I have work dreams..its not like I dont see those people enough, lol.

The things is.. I have quite a few dreams that never seem to make sense.. at least at the time... then eventually I can relate them to what has been actually going on in my 'Real-World'.. Sometimes the connection is just not on the surface of things and takes some living through it all to get it. I was advised to write them down to create a time line for what happens in my dreams as compared to what happens in Real Life.. then I can get a time frame for how they work in comparison.. I haven't ever done that really, but I do notice the connection between dreams and reality is closer than ever I'll keep you posted!

This is really crazy. But my nightmares turn out to have a T- Rex in it. It is always chasing after me!! =(
Your nightmare was surely a nightmare! I do believe that sometimes are nightmares or dreams reveal some of the things we want or are afraid of.
They say that most people remember their nightmares more than normal dreams because they are just so intense and when we wake up we still feel shaken up by them!!

Ever since that night I have no slept well at all.. falling asleep at 5 a.m and having to be up at 9 or 10 am.. it's just is so strange. I am going to take a day and re-align things. T-Rex huh? lol.. not sure if that is a nightmare or a fantasy dream.. how does the dream go?

Well, to me it is a nightmare cause I'm so scared in it, the T-Rex is always chasing me and trying to eat me. It's like those Jurassic Park movies. It never catches me though. I have recurrent dreams of things going after me and chasing me all over AND I have no idea what they might mean.
I hope you get some rest!! You need it or you'll be tired and drained for days! *kisses*
